Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Collaborate with architects and engineers as part of the integrated design process
• Learn tools, technology, and workflow involved with BIM for project delivery
• Participate in site visits to observe real-world project outcomes
• Assist in developing concepts, calculations, modeling, drawing review, and project execution
• Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling using Autodesk Revit software

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• At least a third-year student in an accredited Lighting Design, Architecture, Electrical Engineering program, or similar field
• Excellent communication, technology, and organizational skills
• Good multitasking ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Desire to learn about the architecture and engineering design process

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with drafting programs such as Revit
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail
• Experience with lighting calculation software such as AGi32, ElumTools, or LightStanza

• Hourly rate between $20 and $26 USD, based on location, experience, and skills

Training & Development

Interns participate in the Emerging Professional Experience (EPX) Program, which includes mentorship, project work, and weekly learning sessions.
