Job summary

Musco is seeking a Troubleshooting Specialist for the Lighting & Controls division on the 2nd shift at the Oskaloosa office. The role focuses on maintaining all Musco products in the field, handling warranty and non-warranty issues, and serving as a technical resource for customers and Musco teams.

Qualifications include an associate degree in electronics or equivalent, 3 years in electrical installations, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• 3 years’ experience in electrical installations and troubleshooting a plus.
• Experience with control systems and technical support is a plus.
• Familiarity with cellular, Ethernet, fiber, networking, or ability to learn.
• Knowledge of single/three phase power and DC applications or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline telephone support for technical problem solving and electrical troubleshooting.
• Identify and report product performance issues and help develop pre-emptive detection methods.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high customer service quality.
• Manage issues from first contact through resolution and log reports accurately.
• Utilize Musco computer applications for logging, tracking, and routing service orders.
