As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lighting Controls Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented Lighting Controls Technician who will be responsible for programming, and maintaining advanced lighting control systems in our Colorado territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and experience with various lighting control protocols. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with clients and colleagues, and contribute to the evolution of smart lighting technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure, and troubleshoot lighting control systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, electricians, and other team members to ensure successful implementation of lighting solutions.
  • Program lighting control systems using brand specific software tools.
  • Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify functionality and performance.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service appointments.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends related to lighting controls.
Qualifications:
  • Technical computer experience and understanding of networking.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exhibits exceptional performance under demanding circumstances and consistently achieves set deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft software, Word, Teams, Excel, etc.
  • Dependable transportation and a commitment to punctuality.
  • Must live in Denver Colorado or surrounding area
Preferred Experience, but not required
  • Experience in programming and servicing lighting control systems.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and components.
  • Familiarity with lighting control protocols including Wireless, DALI, DMX, and Ethernet-based systems.
  • Experience with advanced programming techniques used in lighting controls (sequencing, conditionals).
  • Field Service in any construction / consumer trade
