Job summary

Christie Lites is seeking an autonomous Rental Representative to build and manage a client portfolio within the entertainment lighting sector. You will influence equipment specifications and work with Project Management to ensure flawless show execution.

You'll develop annual growth plans, source new opportunities, and travel regularly to client sites and events. A strong technical understanding of lighting gear and relationship-based sales approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in stage lighting or related entertainment/event industry sales
• Proven ability to source leads and develop opportunities
• Willingness to travel regularly, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic client relationships through in-person meetings, job-site visits, networking, and regular follow-ups.
• Influence product specifications by understanding Christie Lites' rental equipment and coordinating with designers and key decision-makers.
• Develop and execute annual relationship and revenue growth plans with the VP of Rentals.
• Monitor portfolio performance via commission and show reports, resolve client concerns, and identify expansion opportunities.
• Partner with Project Management to ensure accurate quotations, reservations, and seamless show execution from booking to invoicing.
• Champion Christie Lites' business practices and the One Contact-One Rep model.
• Operate independently while collaborating with leadership and Operations to deliver exceptional client service.
