Job summary
DC Army National Guard seeks a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery on wheeled vehicles in the field and shop. Duties include inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing and testing vehicle systems, including electrical components.
You will train through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, earning a regular paycheck with tuition assistance and benefits.
Qualifications
- Enlistment in the Army National Guard.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Military fitness and citizenship requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers and equipment.
- Service electrical systems, wiring harness, starting and charging systems.
