• Title: Light Maintenance Technician

• Location: Fort Dodge, IA

• Wage: Up to $18.50/hour

• Hours: 7am - 3:30pm

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

• Work and direct personnel in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, following safety protocols such as PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all safety guidelines.

• Sanitation and cleaning of assigned areas following schedules and procedures, including washing down, shoveling, sweeping, and cleaning screens with respirator use.

• Perform maintenance, railroad, and groundwork tasks such as mowing, trimming, landscaping, and snow removal.

• Operate equipment like skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand & power tools, with proper training.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers to accomplish tasks and foster good relations.

• Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment when required.

• Maintain adherence to schedules, work overtime, and work on holidays and weekends as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.

What Makes Me Qualified?

• Experience: 0-2 years in industrial cleaning desirable.

Physical Demands

• Ability to observe details at close range.

• Manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating objects.
