A leading company in maintenance and janitorial services is seeking an entry-level Light Maintenance Technician in Fort Dodge, IA. The role encompasses general maintenance tasks within a team-focused environment, ensuring safety and compliance. Title: Light Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Dodge, IA
Wage: Up to $18.50/hour
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm
Weekly pay on Fridays

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
Work and direct personnel in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, following safety protocols such as PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all safety guidelines.
Sanitation and cleaning of assigned areas following schedules and procedures, including washing down, shoveling, sweeping, and cleaning screens with respirator use.
Perform maintenance, railroad, and groundwork tasks such as mowing, trimming, landscaping, and snow removal.
Operate equipment like skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand & power tools, with proper training.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers to accomplish tasks and foster good relations.
Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment when required.
Maintain adherence to schedules, work overtime, and work on holidays and weekends as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
Experience: 0-2 years in industrial cleaning desirable.
Ability to observe details at close range.
Control precision for operating machinery.
Manual dexterity for grasping and manipulating objects.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to move for extended periods.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, and operate tools and equipment safely.
