Job summary

Mee Derby & Company is seeking a Selling Branch Manager for our Troy, MI location to lead a fast-growing light industrial staffing operation. You will drive revenue growth, manage the sales pipeline, and mentor recruiters and branch staff to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of staffing sales experience with concentration in the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated success winning new business and growing/retaining client relationships
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop recruiters and/or branch teams
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills across phone, in-person meetings, and presentations
• Confidence negotiating pricing/terms and managing a consistent, trackable pipeline
• Preferred Bachelor's degree (Business, HR, Management, or related)

Responsibilities

• Launch a new market with a primary focus on revenue growth, gross margin, and profitability
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to hit monthly/quarterly targets
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, prospecting, and community involvement
• Build and expand relationships with new and existing clients; lead client meetings, facility tours, staffing consultations, and presentations
• Negotiate staffing agreements and pricing while protecting profitability
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently deliver on sales activity and outcomes
• Lead day-to-day branch operations and build a culture of accountability, urgency, and customer service
• Hire, coach, and develop recruiters and branch staff; set goals and run regular performance check-ins
• Monitor and improve branch KPIs and execute action plans when results are off track
• Partner with recruiters on strategies for high-volume light industrial hiring; jump in hands-on as needed to fill urgent roles
• Ensure timely delivery of qualified talent and a strong candidate experience through onboarding and assignment
• Ensure accurate billing, payroll, and reporting processes
• Maintain compliance with employment regulations; promote a safety-first culture aligned with OSHA/workers' comp/client safety programs
