Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Branch Operations Manager in Troy to lead daily branch operations, support the Market Leader, and ensure superior member service. The role emphasizes staff development, compliance, and community presence across a busy retail environment.

You will coach team members, oversee scheduling and facilities, and drive branch growth with a strong focus on cross-selling and operational excellence, while maintaining LMCU standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Michigan Resident Producer Credit Insurance License or license within 90 days of hire.
• NMLS registration and notary certification required as applicable.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Market Leader to drive branch performance and service excellence.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including training, scheduling, and facility management.
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulatory requirements and data handling.
• Engage with members to promote cross-sell opportunities and build lifetime loyalty.
• Develop community presence through events and outbound outreach.
• Coach staff to achieve branch goals and recognize team achievements.
