Job Description:

This position supports production operations as a Shop Hand, focusing on high-temperature Carbon composite fabrication and processing. Responsibilities include monitoring and operating high-temperature coating reactors, densification furnaces, and ovens. The candidate must ensure proper functioning of equipment and identify discrepancies. The role involves processing Aerospace Carbon material products through various Ceramic Matrix Composite methods.

Note: The candidate will be required to pass a medical exam to wear a full-face respirator. The primary location is Rosamond, with potential travel to Edwards Air Force Base as workflow progresses.

Required Skills:

1. Familiarity with Aerospace products and processes
2. Familiarity with Composites
3. Experience with shop tools (scale, razor blades, scissors, wrench, ratchet)
4. Ability to read and interpret drawings and standard operating procedures
5. Expected 25-30 hours per week with potential for full-time (40 hours) as the program advances
