Job description

Material Handler

Location: Rosamond, CA

Job ID: #70984

Pay Range: $20-25

This position is for a Shop Hand supporting production operations through high-temperature Carbon composite fabrication and processing.

1. Monitor and operate high-temperature coating reactors, densification furnaces, and ovens.
2. Ensure proper functioning of coating reactors and densification furnaces, and identify discrepancies.
3. Process Aerospace Carbon material products using various Ceramic Matrix Composite methods.

Required Skills:

1. Familiarity with Aerospace products and processes.
2. Familiarity with Composites.
3. Experience with shop tools (scale, razor blades, scissors, wrench, ratchet).
4. Ability to read and interpret drawings and SOPs.
5. Expected 25-30 hours per week with potential for full-time (40 hours) as the program expands.

Requirements:

1. PPE: Safety shoes.
2. Candidate must pass a medical exam to wear a full-face respirator for product processing.
3. Primarily located in Rosamond, with potential travel to Edwards Air Force Base as workflow progresses.
