Primary Responsibility / Summary

Assists drivers in loading and unloading goods and performs various material handling tasks to support departmental operations.

What You'll Do:
  1. Assist drivers with loading and unloading bins.
  2. Create soft and hard goods bins for drivers.
  3. Load and unload trucks/trailers (raw donations, trash, salvage, etc.).
  4. Segregate soft goods, hard goods, and trash.
  5. Ensure all items are correctly marked (donations, commodities, salvage, etc.).
  6. Sort recyclables into proper containers (metal, plastic, cardboard, etc.).
  7. Build and palletize empty gaylords for commodities, ensuring heavier commodities have adequate support.
  8. Operate equipment (auger, compactor, tipper, baler, auto-tie) following established procedures.
  9. Use material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, furniture dolly).
  10. Clear post-retail textile tables of trash and commodities.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment for safety.
  12. Lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
What We're Looking For:
  • Some warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision.
  • Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
  • Safety-conscious attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions consistently.
  • Flexible shifts and overtime availability.
