Job Summary

This is a craft labor position responsible for safely operating various heavy equipment, including but not limited to backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, and post drivers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate equipment such as forklifts, lull, skid steer to unload delivery vehicles on site or at a warehouse.
2. Safely operate post-driver machinery for driving posts in solar arrays.
3. Move levers to position post leads, hoist posts, and operate hammers for driving posts.
4. Drive posts using heavy equipment with a post driver head for supporting structures.
5. Conduct pre-operational checks and maintain equipment.
6. Follow safety regulations and standards.
7. Operate various machinery such as bulldozers, trench excavators, road graders, or backhoes.
8. Align and position machines according to plans and signals.
9. Perform general site work including loading, moving earth, and material handling.
10. Maintain records of equipment usage and issues.
11. Follow build plans and safety checklists.
12. Handle materials and inventory management tasks.

Minimum Job Requirements

1. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
2. 2+ years of experience for Level I, 3+ years for Level II, 4+ years for Level III.
3. Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, handle tools, reach, push, pull, climb, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Willing to travel and work extended hours as needed.
• Must wear PPE and respirators as required.
