Job Description

Greensboro Country Club, a prestigious local country club, is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for golf course maintenance. This is a full-time position. The Equipment Operator I role is entry-level, designed for individuals beginning training on various tasks associated with golf course maintenance and operating different types of equipment.

Ideal candidates should be able to operate small equipment such as weed eaters, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, triplex mowers, out-front rotary mowers, trap rakes, aerifiers, and utility vehicles. Willingness to learn to operate larger equipment is also important. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Walk mowing greens
2. Ride mowing greens
3. Hand raking and power raking bunkers
4. String trimming creeks and other course areas
5. Edging curbs
6. Trash collection and debris pickup
7. Assisting with small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc.

Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience, with an attractive benefits package. The position requires 40-50 hours per week, including mandatory weekend work. Part-time weekend-only positions are also available. Background checks are required for consideration.
