City of Georgetown is seeking a Light Equipment Operator – Concrete specialization to perform operations on light and heavy equipment for streets, stormwater, and drainage projects. The role includes forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for sidewalks, ramps, and curbs in accordance with ADA standards.

Responsibilities include site preparation, equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and on-call readiness.

Formación

• Six months of full-time work experience or equivalent combination of experience/education/training.
• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure maintenance and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate light and heavy equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist in construction and repair of city infrastructure (streets, drainage, right-of-way).
• Set forms, pour concrete, and perform finishing work per ADA standards.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate with other departments and staff; may lead assigned staff.
