Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Operate Forklift, Skid Steer, Cat 308, Excavator, and Trencher to dig holes and trenches, and to remove and transport earth, gravel, and other materials.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Support the Company's safety commitments and Core Values actively.
• Represent the Company professionally, adhering to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Work effectively under supervision.
• Operate equipment to dig trenches and holes with specified dimensions and grades.
• Work around underground utilities and in confined or tight spaces.
• Use equipment to remove loosened material and transport it to piles or trucks.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions to minimize risks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision.

PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and occasionally climb onto equipment or trailers.
• Lift or carry objects weighing 35 to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Have sufficient visual ability and eye-hand coordination to perform job duties.
• Travel and overtime may be required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum one year of mechanical, industrial, or refinery maintenance experience. Basic knowledge of hand tools. Ability to pass equipment and visual tests. Complete safety and site-specific training. Maintain an active status in the DISA drug testing program and pass a background check.
