Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver to serve as the frontline representative on roadside calls. You will operate flatbeds and wheel-lift trucks, secure vehicles, perform inspections, and maintain safety while delivering professional customer service in various weather conditions.

The role emphasizes strong driving ability, mechanical know-how, and the stamina to handle physically demanding tasks. Night, weekend, and holiday on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Valid driver’s license (Class E) required; CDL not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel-lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status, delays, hazards, and customer needs.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure customer safety.
