Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver in Georgia. You will operate flatbeds/wheel-lift tow trucks, handle breakdown recoveries, and transport vehicles while delivering professionalism and safety on every call.

Requirements include being 21+, a valid Class E license (CDL not required), and the ability to pass drug and background checks. Excellent communication and customer service are essential for this frontline role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent); CDL not required.
• Local Residency
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate tow equipment safely.
• Pass drug screening and background checks.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel-lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles following DOT safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues.
• Communicate with dispatch about job status, delays, hazards, and customer needs.
• Provide professional customer service and explain procedures to customers.
• Complete required paperwork and digital logs accurately.
• Keep truck and equipment clean and organized.
• Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
