Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a Light‑Duty Tow Truck Driver to deliver top‑tier roadside service. You will operate light‑duty tow trucks, load and secure vehicles, complete inspections, and maintain logs while providing professional customer service during stressful situations.

Eligible drivers may receive a $1,500 sign‑on bonus in‑state and a $2,500 sign‑on bonus out of state, with opportunities for overtime, night/weekend shifts, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent); CDL not required
• Local Residency
• Mechanical aptitude, Haz Mat or air brake endorsements and CMV experience listed as preferred
• Ability to operate tow equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks

Responsibilities

• Operate light‑duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel‑lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles in accordance with company and DOT safety standards.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status, delays, hazards, and customer needs.
• Provide professional customer service, including explaining procedures and ensuring customer safety.
• Complete required paperwork, digital logs, and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment.
• Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
