Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services in Tennessee seeks a Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver, the frontline face for our customers. You’ll operate flatbeds and wheel-lift trucks, handle breakdowns, recoveries, and transports, and bring calm, professionalism, and safe driving to every call.

This role requires sharp driving, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in all weather. You’ll respond to nights, weekends, and holidays, and enjoy a competitive benefits package and a $1,500 sign-on bonus in-state or

Qualifications

• 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent); CDL not required
• Local Residency
• Pass drug screening and background checks
• Experience with light-duty tow equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel-lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles in accordance with company and DOT safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status, delays, hazards, and customer needs.
• Provide professional customer service, including explaining procedures and ensuring customer safety.
• Complete required paperwork, digital logs, and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment.
• Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
