Job summary

Dem-Con Companies is seeking a Light Duty Roll-off Driver to deliver and pick up dumpsters in a non-CDL capacity. The role emphasizes safe operations, DOT compliance, and strong customer service at various sites and transfer stations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Minnesota Class D license, pass a DOT physical, and be able to lift 50 pounds. A clean driving record is preferred and the position is located in Minnesota.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: Light Duty Roll-off Driver

POSITION SUMMARY:

The light duty roll-off truck driver position is a non-CDL role that is responsible for delivering & picking up dumpsters and disposing at various sites & transfer stations in an appropriate manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Operates light duty roll-off trucks
2. Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
3. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
4. Ability to operate safely within DOT rules and regulations
5. Participate in company safety programs
6. Maintains and protects all property
7. Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
8. Fuels truck at the end of each workday
9. Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

1. Have a valid Minnesota Class D License
2. Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card
3. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
4. Driver must be minimum of 18 years old per DOT.

Education and/or experience:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred
2. Must have a clean driving record

WORK CONDITIONS
Outdoor environment; exposure to extreme weather conditions; work with and around heavy machinery; exposure to dust and fumes from motorized equipment; exposure to noise, odors and gases; exposure to heavy traffic conditions, possible exposure to toxic chemicals.
