Job summary

Dem-Con Companies, LLC is hiring a Light Duty Roll-off Driver. This non-CDL position delivers and picks up dumpsters, disposes at transfer stations, and adheres to safety and DOT regulations. You will perform pre/post trip inspections and provide excellent customer service.

Minimum requirements include a Minnesota Class D license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. High school diploma or GED preferred with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license required.
• DOT physical and health card required.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Driver must be at least 18 years old per DOT.

Responsibilities

• Operate light duty roll-off trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Adhere to DOT rules and regulations for safe operations.
• Participate in company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect company property.
• Inform on-duty mechanic of maintenance issues with equipment/vehicles.
• Refuel truck at end of each workday.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: Light Duty Roll-off Driver

POSITION SUMMARY:

The light duty roll-off truck driver position is a non-CDL role that is responsible for delivering & picking up dumpsters and disposing at various sites & transfer stations in an appropriate manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Operates light duty roll-off trucks
2. Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
3. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
4. Ability to operate safely within DOT rules and regulations
5. Participate in company safety programs
6. Maintains and protects all property
7. Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
8. Fuels truck at the end of each workday
9. Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

1. Have a valid Minnesota Class D License
2. Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card
3. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
4. Driver must be minimum of 18 years old per DOT.

Education and/or experience:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred
