Job summary

Dem-Con Companies, LLC is seeking a Class A Driver for a rotating 4-day work week on day shift in Minnesota. You will operate rolloff and tractor-trailers to safely transport materials, with occasional OT and a focus on reliability and client service.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, DOT compliance, accurate logs, communicating with dispatch, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. A Minnesota CDL Class A, DOT physical, and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota CDL Class A with the ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to operate and maneuver heavy trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty commercial trucks and tractor-trailers (roll-off, etc.).
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery/pickup operations.
• Maintain required DOT certifications and comply with DOT regulations.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect company property.
• Inform on-duty mechanic of maintenance issues.
• Maintain logs and records per DOT regulations.
• Fuel trucks at end of day.
• Operate front end loader/skid steer when needed.
• Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, and staff.

As a truck driver, you will operate a variety of trucks Including rolloff or tractor-trailers for collection services to ensure our customers’ expectations are met in transporting or disposing various materials to the appropriate location.

1. Operates heavy duty commercial trucks and tractor-trailers
2. Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
3. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
4. Maintains all required certifications required by DOT
5. Adheres to all OSHA and company safety programs
6. Maintains and protects all property
7. Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
8. Maintains various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations
9. Fuels truck at the end of each workday
10. Operates front end loader/ skid steer on as needed basis
11. Communicates effectively with management, dispatch and all division employees

2. Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license
3. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
4. Driver must be 21 years old per DOT.
5. High school diploma or GED
