Job description

This is a part-time position with hours projected to be between 20 to 25 hours per week, depending on candidate availability and program needs. Candidates must submit their availability at the beginning of each month and be available for at least two blocks of 10 to 12 hours each week.

The Driver is responsible for the safe operation of light, medium, and heavy (if qualified) GSA and Tactical vehicles. Responsibilities include operating assigned vehicles to transport passengers as requested by Government customers, following Trip Requests (USMA FORM 1-189), and performing duties as directed by Management. Responsibilities

1. Safe operation and servicing of Transportation Motor Pool vehicles:

• Sedans/Vans (Standard: 15 Minutes, Pre and Post Check)
• Checking fluid levels
• Vacuuming vehicle floors and seats
• Sweeping/mopping vans without carpeting
• Wiping down consoles
• Cleaning windows
• Driving through Government Car Wash
• Fueling vehicles
• Removing debris from vehicle floors, cup holders, and compartments
• Checking for personal property left in vehicles
