Job summary

Celerion is seeking a Scientist, Method Development, for the Ligand Binding Assay Development team at our Lincoln, NE facility. You will apply scientific expertise to develop immunoassays and advance bioanalytical methods in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on immunoassay development experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects within regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology.
• 5+ years of related scientific experience preferred; CRO/industry experience is a plus.
• Proven proficiency in immunoassay development across multiple projects.
• Understanding of FDA and ICH guidelines in method validation and sample analysis.
• Experience in a regulated GLP-compliant environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop ligand binding assays using state-of-the-art technologies for protein/peptides/antibodies in biological matrices.
• Perform PK/PD/biomarkers/ADA assays according to regulatory and quality systems.
• Analyze data, generate summaries, troubleshoot assay performance and peer-review raw data.
• Collaborate across teams to meet objectives under time constraints.
• Provide guidance and leadership to study teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Publish scientific manuscripts and present findings at conferences.
