Job summary

Massanutten Resort in Virginia is seeking seasonal staff to operate as ticket checkers/scanners. You will greet guests, verify access, assist riders getting on lifts, and maintain lift mazes in all weather conditions.

The role requires standing outdoors in cold weather, ability to work weekends/holidays, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering friendly guest service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior guest service by providing information and assistance with a smile.
• Validate tickets and ensure guests have valid products before loading onto lift.
• Set up, maintain and dismantle lift mazes.
• Shovel and rake snow.
• Monitor RFID tablets at entry areas for valid products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required

Preferred

• Basic knowledge of ski industry
• Basic knowledge of Massanutten and resort layout
• Previous experience working in guest service environment
• Skiing or snowboarding experience
