U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a Lift Station Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair wastewater lift stations, pumps, motors, and related equipment.

The role emphasizes safe, reliable operation and preventive maintenance in a field setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform maintenance in diverse outdoor environments.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, pump repair, wastewater utilities, lift station maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, piping, valves, and mechanical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater lift stations and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, floats, valves, piping, and other mechanical components.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify the cause of mechanical or operational problems.
• Assist with installation, removal, replacement, and repair of pumps, motors, piping, and associated equipment.
• Monitor lift station operations and identify potential equipment failures, leaks, blockages, or abnormal conditions.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and other scheduled maintenance activities.
• Assist with electrical and control-system troubleshooting within the employee's training and qualifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs.
