Job summary

Alyeska Resort is seeking a Lift Attendant to operate chair lifts safely and efficiently. You will assist guests, manage loading zones, and provide information about the resort and local area. The role requires excellent customer service, dependability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is expected. This position involves outdoor work and interaction with guests in sometimes stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible schedules such as evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable.
• Able to work outside and in inclement weather continually.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with all kinds of people, sometimes in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests on and off chairlifts.
• Set up and take down perimeters and mazes at the beginning and the end of each day.
• Maintain loading and unloading zones- shovel, chip, and rake.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
• Be alert to possible problems, and notify your operator.
• Provide information to riders about resort facilities and the local area.
• Assisting guests through the RFID gates, making sure everyone has valid tickets.
• Other duties as assigned
