Job summary

Crystal Mountain Resort is seeking a Lift Operator to safely operate the ski lift and assist guests with loading and unloading at our premier mountain destination in Washington. You will monitor lift lines, perform opening and closing procedures, and ensure a welcoming, safe guest experience on every ride.

This seasonal role emphasizes responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication with guests and teammates, in a resort environment that blends mountain adventure with friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ski/Snowboard experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a ski lift.
• Be attentive at the load and unload terminals; monitor surrounding areas.
• Perform opening procedures at the lift and lift maze.
• Assist guests of all ages to load and unload chairlifts safely.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace; perform light snow removal as needed.
• Complete daily logs and other required documentation.
• Work independently or in a team to accomplish daily tasks.
• Maintain lift chairs by removing snow and ice from chairs.
