Job summary

Crystal Mountain, part of the Alterra Mountain Company family, seeks a Lead Lift Operator to support Lift Operators across multiple lifts. You will delegate tasks, supervise breaks, and train new staff while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

The role is seasonal and based at Crystal Mountain, Washington, with a wage from 22.00 to 23.50 USD per hour. Join a vibrant mountain operations team committed to exceptional experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Leadership and/or Lift Lead experience required.
• Ski/Snowboard experience required; comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to maximize use of time and resources.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a Lift Operator.
• Assist guests loading and unloading chairlifts.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer experience.
• Set up, run, and break down multiple lifts daily.
• Lead and assist your team of Lift Operators in tasks.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Ensure breaks comply with DoL policies.
• Maintain appearance of lift stations and supplies; audit lift documentation.
• Assist in physically demanding tasks and crowd control.
