Job summary

Wilson Sporting Goods is seeking an Inventory Lift Truck Operator in Nashville. The role involves operating RF-equipped stand-up forklifts to audit inventory across the distribution center. Shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and safety in daily operations. You'll use SAP scanners and tablets to record counts, perform cycle counts, and transport products to destinations.

Qualifications

  • PIT certification and operation of Reach Truck/Order Selector.
  • Understanding of warehouse equipment roles in a distribution environment.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Familiarity with SAP warehouse management system.

Responsibilities

  • Count items in bins and perform planned cycle counts.
  • Identify and maintain necessary equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Retrieve and transport products to designated destinations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment per safety standards.
  • Use SAP scanners and tablets to complete tasks.
  • Meet production efficiency targets and maintain quality of work.

Overview

Starting at $21 per hour the Inventory Lift Truck Operatorwill be responsible for operating and using industrial powered stand up forklifts that are RF equipped to assess and record inventory throughout the Distribution Center.


The shift is from 6AM-2:30PM - Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do


  • Bin block counts

  • Planned cycle counts

  • Identify and maintain necessary equipment, tools, and supplies.

  • Retrieve and transport products to assigned destinations.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company and OSHA safety standards.

  • Use SAP scanners, tablets, and other devices as assigned to complete assignments.

  • Continually meet production efficiency levels

  • Maintain quality of work(Accuracy is key)

  • Work independently and in a team environment willing to help in other departments and work overtime when necessary (Flexibility is a must).

  • Consistently work scheduled shifts and be on time to comply with the company attendance policy.

  • Be able to troubleshoot and correct problems that occur within your daily tasks.

  • Perform any other assignment/task given by any member of leadership.


What We're Looking For


  • Ability to successfully pass PIT training and operating PIT (Reach Truck and Order Selector).

  • Basic understanding of equipment operator roles within a warehouse distribution environment.

  • Basic math skills are a must.

  • Basic understanding of the SAP warehouse management system.

  • Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing, and active listening.

  • Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking, and planning.

  • Flexibility as priorities may change mid-task.

  • Have a personable and positive attitude when dealing with co-workers and vendors.

  • Ability to handle multiple job tasks and responsibilities.

  • Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision.

  • Meticulous attention to detail where accuracy is key.

  • Focus and critical thinking.

  • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and discretion.
