Job summary

Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is hiring a warehouse associate to join our Chicago-based operations. Earn $21.00/hr with a 10% shift differential and up to 3 weeks of paid time off in your first year.

The role runs 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday through Friday, and involves PIT operation, cycle counts, and material handling. You will use SAP scanners and tablets, maintain safety and accuracy, and collaborate with teammates to meet production targets.

Qualifications

  • Pass PIT training and operate PIT (Reach Truck and Order Selector).
  • Basic understanding of warehouse roles.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Familiarity with SAP warehouse management system.
  • Strong communication, organization and time management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Professional attitude and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Bin block counts.
  • Planned cycle counts.
  • Identify and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Retrieve and transport products to destinations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment per safety standards.
  • Use SAP scanners and tablets to complete tasks.
  • Meet production efficiency targets.
  • Work independently and with the team; occasional overtime.

What You'll Do
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Bin block counts
  • Planned cycle counts
  • Identify and maintain necessary equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Retrieve and transport products to assigned destinations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Use SAP scanners, tablets, and other devices as assigned to complete assignments.
  • Continually meet production efficiency levels
  • Maintain quality of work (Accuracy is key)
  • Work independently and in a team environment willing to help in other departments and work overtime when necessary (Flexibility is a must).
  • Consistently work scheduled shifts and be on time to comply with the company attendance policy.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and correct problems that occur within your daily tasks.
  • Perform any other assignment/task given by any member of leadership.
What We're Looking For
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to successfully pass PIT training and operating PIT (Reach Truck and Order Selector).
  • Basic understanding of equipment operator roles within a warehouse distribution environment.
  • Basic math skills are a must.
  • Basic understanding of the SAP warehouse management system.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing, and active listening.
  • Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking, and planning.
  • Flexibility as priorities may change mid-task.
  • Have a personable and positive attitude when dealing with co-workers and vendors.
  • Ability to handle multiple job tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail where accuracy is key.
  • Focus and critical thinking.
  • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and discretion.
