Job summary

Living Spaces in Fremont, CA is seeking a Lift Operator 1 to move products through the warehouse and efficiently pick guest orders for shipment. You will operate powered industrial equipment, scan merchandise, stage products, and ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a fast-paced warehouse. OSHA safety standards training and pre/post trip inspections are part of the duties; a flexible schedule including

Position SummaryThe Lift Operator 1 is responsible for moving product through the warehouse and warehouse racking in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Efficiently pick guest orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Operate any one of the power industrial equipment such as Forklift, Order Picker, and Reach Truck in and around warehouse utilizing proper lifting techniquesPull product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores and DC’sMove product from Inbound Bins into the racks according product type and dimensionRelocate product from end caps and service area into racksEfficiently pick customer orders. Select orders based on RF designated pick areaEnsure inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areasScan merchandise prior to moving it to a different locationStage product based on product and storage typeUtilize wire guidance and high pile storageCarry or transport orders to the dock with material handling equipmentAble to operate radio frequency equipmentConduct operations in compliance with OSHA standardsConduct operations in a manner that promotes safetyResponsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filledMaintain compliance by completing pre and post trip inspectionsMaintain a clean work area and free from debris warehouse floorMeet company standards for productivityAble to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysQualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
