Job summary

Eaglecrest Ski Area in Alaska is hiring a Lift Supervisor to ensure the safe operation of all ski lifts and supervise the lift crew. The role includes training staff, scheduling, and daily opening/closing of lifts in winter conditions.

Applicants should have two seasons of lead or supervisory experience in a ski environment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors, weekends and holidays. Snow shovel capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two seasons of lead or supervisory experience in a Ski Industry position.
• Valid driver’s license at time of appointment and for continued employment.
• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and be on feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of all Eaglecrest ski lifts.
• Assist in lift maintenance and record keeping.
• Oversee daily supervision of lift operations crew, including training, scheduling and timecard approvals.
• Open and close lifts in a safe and timely manner.
