Job summary

King Pine Ski Area is seeking a dependable Lift Operations Supervisor to lead our winter lift operations team. This role oversees daily lift operations, ensures safety compliance, and delivers welcoming service for guests in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team leader, comfortable working outside in cold conditions, and able to coach seasonal staff while coordinating with Lift Maintenance and Ski Patrol.

Qualifications

• Previous ski area, lift operations, outdoor recreation, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and support a seasonal team.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to guest and employee safety.
• Dependable, punctual, organized and responsible for daily operations.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and outdoors in cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, schedule, and support seasonal lift operators.
• Assign daily responsibilities based on staffing and needs.
• Coach employees on safety, performance, attendance, and guest service.
• Lead by example and participate in lift operations as needed.
• Oversee daily lift operations per safety procedures.
• Complete checklists and incident reports; communicate issues to maintenance.
• Support mountain operations and collaborate with other departments.
