Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, a part of Alterra Mountain Company, is seeking a Lead Lift Operator in Steamboat Springs. The role provides leadership to the lift crew, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest service while upholding safety and company standards.

The position requires strong communication, a minimum 2 years of work history, and at least one season of lift experience. This is a seasonal, on-site role with competitive hourly pay and extensive employee benefits.

Qualificações

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 2 years of previous work history/education required.
• Minimum of one season Steamboat Lift Operations experience required.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance required.
• Strong communication and ability to train, coach, and praise co-workers.
• Work independently under minimal supervision with good judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily guidance, training, coaching, and operation of the lift; report issues to supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and ensure safe lift operation.
• Promote personal, employee, and guest safety.
• Coach crew to deliver superior guest service.
• Maintain ticket security and resolve ticketing issues.
• Complete paperwork, logsheets, and incident reports.
• Foster strong cross-department relationships and ensure policy compliance.
• Support departmental and company consistency; perform other duties as assigned.
