Qualifications

• 2 years of previous work history/education required
• Lift Operations experience required
• Must maintain a professional well-groomed appearance
• Previous supervisory experience helpful
• Communications skills and the ability to train, coach, discipline, and praise employees
• Work independently with minimal supervision; think quickly, make decisions with good judgment
• Deal with conflict and difficult situations in a busy environment
• Previous experience with risk management/safety helpful
• Operate various hand tools, snow blowers, snowmobiles, etc.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurability standards
• Problem-solve in an effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates, and co-workers
• Be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily supervision of assigned crew members which includes but is not limited to: Interviewing, training, coaching, disciplining, documenting performance, and terminating employees
• Daily pre-operational inspections and safe and proper operation of the lift(s)
• Awareness and promotion of personal, employee, and guest safety
• Coaching crew on providing superior guest service
• Maintaining ticket security and mitigating ticketing problems
• Completing paperwork including log sheets, incident reports, employee performance documentation
• Developing strong working relationships with other departments
• Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned
