Job summary

Alyeska Resort is seeking a Lift Attendant to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mountain chair lifts. You will assist guests boarding and disembarking, manage perimeters and mazes, and maintain loading zones under various weather conditions.

Customer service is essential as you inform riders about facilities and local attractions, handle RFID gates, and respond to issues for a smooth guest experience. This role requires flexibility and reliability in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse guests, sometimes under stress.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests on and off chairlifts
• Set up and take down perimeters and mazes at the beginning and end of each day
• Maintain loading and unloading zones- shovel, chip, and rake
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
• Be alert to possible problems, and notify your operator
• Provide information to riders about resort facilities and the local area
• Assisting guests through the RFID gates, making sure everyone has valid tickets
• Other duties as assigned
