Job summary

CCMC is seeking a Lifestyle Director to design and manage engaging community events and programming on-site. You will collaborate with residents and partners to deliver memorable experiences within a resident-focused framework.

The role requires 3–4 years in event planning or related fields, plus 2 years in communications. On-site employment with flexible hours for events is expected, along with safety checks and driving requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations, or related fields.
• 2 years of professional experience with creating and managing communications.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in recreation, communications, journalism or community development preferred.
• Must be onsite full-time Mon–Fri with potential evenings, weekends or holidays for events.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, driving record and background check.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a comprehensive community event and programming calendar.
• Develop content for community communications, website, newsletters, promotional materials and social media.
• Produce, maintain and follow an annual budget for activities, income and expenses.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with local organizations and businesses.
• Oversee the operation of the amenity center including rentals.
• Develop and implement general policies and procedures.
• Administrative duties and support for community clubs, groups, and committees.
• Develop a strong relationship with the Board of Directors.
• Public speaking and resident engagement.

What you’ll accomplish

• Creating planning promoting and executing a comprehensive community event and programming calendar for residents
• Working cohesively with the Communications Associate in developing content for the community communications website newsletters promotional materials social media accounts etc
• Producing maintaining and following an annual budget for activity income and expenses
• Establishing and nurturing partnerships with local organizations and businesses to benefit residents and the overall community
• Overseeing the operation of the amenity center including rentals
• Developing and implementing general policies and procedures
• Administrative duties
• Creation coordination and support for community clubs groups and committees
• Ability to create a strong professional and symbiotic relationship with the Board of Directors
• Must be comfortable with public speaking and engagement

What we’re looking for

• Qualified candidates must be able to work onsite at the community and work full time hours Monday Friday with ability to work additional hours on some nights weekends and holidays for events
• Qualified candidates must be self motivated and able to work effectively with a resident board and committee members as well as volunteers
• Candidates should have 3 4 years of professional experience in event planning recreation programming public relations or other related experience and 2 years of professional experience with creating and managing communications
• A Bachelors Degree or higher ideally in recreation communications journalism or community development from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Must pass pre employment drug screen driving record and background check
• If driving is or becomes a requirement of the role it is required at all times that you hold a valid state drivers license for the class of vehicle you are driving maintain a clean motor vehicle report and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits
• You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing
• CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements
• The physical requirements can vary but generally they may include Mobility Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions
• Lifting and Carrying Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds
• Extended Sitting or Standing Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events
• Manual Dexterity Skills in using technology including computers and mobile devices
• Driving Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions
