Frontier Management is seeking an outstanding Lifestyle Director to develop and promote a strong activity program for Escalante at The Lakes community located in Las Vegas, NV. Demonstrated success as a leader in similar settings is required.

The Lifestyle Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising daily social, educational, recreational, spiritual, therapeutic activities, entertainment, and transportation services for residents. This includes managing group activities, entertainment, and transportation, and working flexibly on assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role requires independent work, problem-solving, conflict management, and budgeting skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, implement, and supervise activities tailored to residents' interests and skills, including parties, games, exercises, church services, book clubs, crafts, baking, outside entertainment, travel, special holiday activities, fundraisers, and celebrations.
2. Encourage and promote resident participation through effective communication.
3. Organize quarterly seminars or lecture series for residents, families, and friends.
4. Assist with Residents Council and monthly meetings.
5. Collaborate with local activity planners and exchange ideas with other Lifestyle Directors.
6. Develop monthly activity programs, print and distribute calendars, and publish newsletters to keep residents and community informed.
7. Support at the front desk and cover for staff shortages as needed.
8. Represent the community by giving tours and marketing efforts.
9. Perform additional tasks as required.

Other Requirements:

• Possess a valid state driver’s license and have transportation.
• Willingness to learn basic photography and social media writing.
• Good communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Compassion for elderly residents.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
