Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience working with the aging population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checks email for updated activity schedule and posts weekly activity bulletin boards.
• Plans and prepares daily activities, holidays, and events; purchases supplies and sets up areas.
• Invites residents to activities and escorts them if needed.
• Conducts scheduled activities and one-to-one interactions to foster a home-like atmosphere.
• Charts resident activity information using approved documentation.
• Coordinates with staff from other departments and outside vendors for programs.
• Provides ADL assistance during activities and outings (toileting, dining, mobility).
• Responds to call bells as needed on nursing units.
• Reports changes in residents' condition to the Charge Nurse immediately.
