Job summary

Life Time seeks a Lead Artist for LifeSpa to train and guide the LifeSpa team, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. The role includes inventory control, ordering, scheduling, and labor management to drive financial success and guest satisfaction.

You will lead by example, recruit talent, and foster a positive, high-performing work environment while delivering top-tier technical services and Beauty regimens within the Life Time ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform minor lifting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house by greeting guests and ensuring comfort during LifeSpa experiences.
• Deliver uncompromising technical services.
• Serve as expert in beauty analysis and maintenance regimens.
• Drive LifeSpa service and retail education within Life Time ecosystem.
• Model a positive work environment for the team.
• Staff and recruit talent with optimized schedules.
• Place and receive orders and manage weekly inventory.
• Oversee hourly and commissioned payroll.
• Host monthly team meetings and weekly one-on-one sessions.

Position Summary

The Lead Artist will be the example to all other technicians by providing best in class services in his/her technical domain to LifeSpa Members and Guests. They will hire and coach the LifeSpa team to ensure they are financially successful as well as own operational duties such as inventory, ordering, scheduling, and labor management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Leads from the front by greeting guests and ensuring guests are comfortable throughout their LifeSpa experience.
• Delivers uncompromising technical services.
• Serves as an expert in beauty analysis and maintenance regimens.
• Drives LifeSpa service and retail education within the Life Time ecosystem.
• Serves as a positive role model to all team members to create a happy work environment.
• Staffs and recruits talent while ensuring schedules are optimized.
• Places and receives orders and completes weekly inventory.
• Manages the hourly and commissioned Team Member payroll.
• Hosts a monthly Team Member Meeting & Weekly 1 to 1 meetings.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform minor lifting
• Has strong professional presentation, technical ability and relationship building

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience

5 or more years of technical experience

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

Appropriate State/County/City Licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of Salon/Spa Leadership experience
• Hair technician preferred
