Job summary

Youth Villages, a national leader in children’s mental and behavioral health, is seeking LifeSet Specialists to support young adults in the community. You will provide clinically focused case management and counseling to youths aged 17 to 23, coordinating with families and schools to promote self-sufficiency and successful transition to adulthood.

Qualifications

• Must have a clinical degree and two years of full-time clinical experience (4,000 hours) with designated population.
• Must have a Master’s degree in a clinical field with one year of full-time clinical experience (2,000 hours) with designated population.
• Must hold one of the North Carolina licenses: LCMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCSW-A, or LCAS-A.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; basic computer knowledge; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a maximum caseload of 8–10 young adults.
• Meets with the young adult at least once weekly; adjusts per clinical need.
• Provides crisis information to clinical supervisor promptly.
• Implements supervisor-recommended interventions in the treatment plan.
• Participates weekly in supervision and quarterly booster trainings.
• Delivers therapeutic services aligned with Youth Villages’ LifeSet Model.
• Completes documentation in an EMR system accurately and timely.
• Engages youth and support system to ensure participation in treatment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
