Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is hiring Field Service Technicians in Oklahoma City to repair lifesaving medical devices at hospital sites. You will work independently, troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and restore devices to service in a timely manner.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to drive and lift heavy equipment. On-call shifts and regional travel are possible as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• DOT physical card required.
• Prior technical or mechanical repair work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use appropriate tools for adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage 24/7 including weekends/holidays.
• Load/unload heavy medical products up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities under service contracts.
• Operate company vehicle ranging from cargo van to 26,000 lb truck.
