Baxter Healthcare, a leader in medical devices, is hiring a Field Service Technician II in Florida. You will troubleshoot electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, repair devices, and perform required adjustments using the proper tools.

The role supports service contracts and may require on-call rotations to ensure device availability for hospitals. Ideal candidates have a technical repair background, are at least 21, possess a valid driver’s license, and reside within 35 miles of Pensacola.

Qualifications

• Applicants must reside within 35 miles of Pensacola, FL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
• Prior technical or mechanical repair work preferred.
• Applicable technical or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components.
• Ability to use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
• Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
