Job summary

Exos is seeking a Lifeguard at our Saint Paul aquatics facility to monitor and secure the pool area, enforce rules, and respond to incidents. The role includes leading private and group swim lessons for kids and adults, and supporting the development and marketing of innovative swim programs.

Responsibilities also include helping maintain the aquatics center and ensuring cleanliness. Certification requirements include lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid, with time allowed to obtain them if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Lifeguarding certification or ability to obtain at hire.
• Experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain at hire.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain watch over the pool area ensuring a secure and safe environment
• Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations
• Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy
• Teach private & group swim lesson to kids and adults of all abilities
• Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative swim programs
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center

Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
• Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $15.00/hour to $20.00/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
