Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Lifeguard to join the team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. You will watch over the pool, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and teach swim lessons to all ages. The role supports development and marketing of new swim programs and helps maintain a clean aquatics facility.

Ideal candidates have Lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid, and prior lifeguarding or teaching experience. Must be at least 16 and able to work in water for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and ready to obtain lifeguard certification if not current.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain them at hire.
• Prior lifeguarding experience or ability to teach swim lessons.
• Ability to be in water for long periods.

• Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations
• Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy
• Teach private & group swim lesson to kids and adults of all abilities
• Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative swim programs
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center

Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
• Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
• Ability to be in water for long periods during the day
