Job summary

YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests and staff at the aquatic facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies. They enforce pool rules, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide a positive experience for all visitors.

Lifeguards also assist with facility inspections and general upkeep of the pool, locker rooms, and restrooms.

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard and CPR/AED certification required.
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.
• Ability to work at high altitude indoor/outdoor pool environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Enforce pool rules and safety procedures.
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool, deck, and surrounding facilities.
• Complete safety records and reports on time.
• Support Snow Mountain Ranch waterfront activities and lessons.
