Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience as part of a swim team or as a swim instructor is preferred.
• Willingness to cross over to the YMCA Lifeguard certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas and enforce safety rules.
• React to emergencies with first aid and CPR.
• Inspect pool equipment and facilities regularly.
• Inform members about pool rules and safety procedures.
• Help with swim lessons and aquatics programs.
