Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a current lifeguard certification and be willing to cross over to the YMCA Lifeguard certification.
• Experience in swim team, swim instructor, or lifeguard preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas and enforce safety rules.
• React to emergencies with first aid and CPR.
• Identify and resolve hazards immediately.
• Inspect pool equipment and report issues.
• Inform members about pool rules.
• Assist with swim lessons and aquatics programs.
