Job summary

Northern Kentucky University is seeking a Lifeguard Specialist (Staff) to support recruitment, training, certification, and ongoing coverage of aquatics staff on a temporary, on-site basis. The role enhances staff readiness, maintains safety standards, and ensures reliable aquatics operations.

The position requires Lifeguard and CPR Instructor certifications to be obtained within three months, with Swim Instructor certification preferred; $15/hour for up to 25 hours per week. Holidays observed.

About the Role:

The Lifeguard Specialist position supports the recruitment,training, certification, and ongoing coverage of aquaticsstaff.

This position provides additional capacity to conduct swim tests,teach lifeguard certification courses, assist with in-servicetraining, and support daily lifeguard coverage and facilityoperations. The role will strengthen staff preparedness, maintainrequired safety standards, and help ensure consistent and reliableaquatics operations.
